Step into the Feral Biome
“Feral Biome 4: A Forest Quest'' is a hand painted installation that encourages participants to physically enter into the universe of a fairy tale forest and interact with games and books to create their own fairytale stories and consider new possibilities for the endings of their stories. After all, sometimes an ending is just another beginning! The installation encourages interaction with the exhibit. The textured paintings can be touched and are intended to be accessible to all participants. The elements within the exhibit: chairs, leaf mats, the rabbit warren, cloud pillows, tree paper dolls and story card games can be moved around the exhibit, in order to accommodate the participants’ accessibility of the exhibit. Future installations are forthcoming.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
